Here’s what you need for yours turmeric face mask:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon of Manuka Honey
Directions for preparing turmeric face mak:
Step 1: mix honey and turmeric
Start by pouring turmeric and honey into the oatmeal. If the honey is too thick like mine, heat it in the microwave for 5 or 10 seconds. Mix everything together – it should become a super thick paste.
Step 2: add water
Add a tablespoon of water and continue mixing. Add more water until it becomes the consistency of lumpy hummus.
Step 3: use a blender
Use a blender to mix it to a pasty consistency, eliminating any large lumps.
Step 4: Apply and leave for 5-10 minutes
Apply it on your face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Wipe off the excess with a paper towel and throw it in the trash, then rinse thoroughly in the sink with warm water. Finish with a layer of your regular facial moisturizer. Make sure to wear old clothes, as turmeric can stain the fabric.
